Tour New Zealand in a Tiny Wee Small GroupSometimes smaller is better and Moa Trek's maximum of 18 travellers per tour is a real winner. These small group escorted tours offer the opportunity to experience New Zealand's unique landscapes, including regions a little less travelled by more conventional coach tours.
When you’re travelling in a small group, chances are most of your travelling companions are travelling with you for the exact same reason! Smaller groups enjoy a little more flexibility to explore places off the beaten track which larger groups can’t access. You get to experience more unique places as well as the iconic destinations. And better time-keeping with a small group can get you to places sooner or allow you to stay places for longer.
If you tour New Zealand on Moa Trek’s 18 day Kiwi itinerary, you’ll enjoy visits to a sensational array of outstandingly beautiful places – and such contrasts! From glistening beaches of the Coromandel Peninsula to view the stunning volcanoes of the Tongariro National Park from across Lake Taupo. From a luxury sailing cruise on Lake Rotoiti to the geothermal rainbow colours at Wai-O-Tapu. From the sparkling glaciers of the Southern Alps to the tumbling waterfalls of Milford Sound. The Kiwi itinerary is a tour of New Zealand with a real twist.
With only 18 people travelling together, enjoying more intimate dining experiences with local kiwis is a lot more achievable. For instance home made lunches with local hosts at Pounamu Lodge and Akaunui Farm Homestead – delicious! So you’ll meet local kiwis and learn about their lives and way of life.
Of course the tour’s kiwi driver/guide is a font of all knowledge when it comes to anything “New Zealand”. The Moa Trek guides are 100% passionate about New Zealand and very proud to showcase their country’s very unique features. They can answer questions you haven’t even thought of!
And taking your creature comforts to heart, Moa Trek have carefully selected 4 star hotels with fabulous amenities, outstanding views and locations with presence. Their coaches have ample leg room, panoramic windows so you can enjoy the magnificent views to the max and reclining seats in case you want to catch 40 winks – probably not!
The 18 day Kiwi small group tour currently has good availability for the coming 15/16 summer. All departures are guaranteed (a couple in February are already fully booked!) and we have an Early Bird discount for bookings made by 31 July. Fantastic!
Enjoy a holiday with the family this summer! This summer, bring the family together and enjoy New Zealand’s great outdoors. As we like to call it “the Kiwi backyard”, there are a myriad of things to see and do for the family. Visiting places such as Auckland, the Coromandel, Rotorua,... read more
Phil and I had an AMAZING trip, it was everything we hoped for and more!
We are so impressed with your job of handling our cancellations and rescheduling due to weather. The trip was so smooth, the vouchers were excellent and everything was very well planned and carried out, we couldn't be happier!
Some fun details:
We saw three Kiwis playing and foraging in the wild, had incredible bird sightings everywhere and even attended an unforgettable Maori tribe welcoming ceremony, which was rare. Both island adventures were extremely special, particularly the Kapiti Island overnight stay: WOW!
Phil was really amazed with the kayaking at night Glow-worm paddle and when our first excursion canceled due to rough seas, we had such a great time at the Auckland Zoo, which you suggested. It really started our vacation out right! All the other excursions were so excellent, the Weta Workshop and tour was so fun, we didn't want it to end!
Thanks again for everything and we hope to have South Pacific Travellers World as our 'Go To' for the South Island, hopefully in the future.
