Your choice of route, either via Cromwell which is in the heart of the Bannockburn wine region then on through the rugged Kawarau Gorge with its goldrush relics, or take the alpine route across the Crown Range. Either way, you'll have time to visit historic Arrowtown en route, perhaps for lunch or an afternoon stroll. |

| You will play this morning on the country course of Te Anau with its magnificent mountain and lake views. Green fees not included but the honesty box works really well. A challenge for any golfer with it’s well placed bunkers and trees. After golf you travel east to Dunedin known for it’s Scottish heritage. |

Your final optional round of golf is at Clearwater Resort, the newest championship course in New Zealand. Officially opened in March 2003 and already established as one of the country’s premier golf resorts, it is set amongst six lakes and designed in collaboration with Sir Bob Charles.
