Day 1Auckland golf at Formosa After breakfast you will be transferred to the Formosa Golf Club by water taxi for your first round of golf. Transfer back to Auckland city for afternoon and evening at leisure. We suggest a stroll around Viaduct Harbour, famous for America’s Cup sailing and location of many of Auckland’s popular restaurants. Overnight Auckland  Day 2 Auckland – Paihia/Waitangi   Pick up your rental car, cross the Harbour Bridge and drive north through Whangarei to the beautiful Bay of Islands. Driving Time to Paihia approx 4 hours Overnight Paihia/Waitangi  Day 3 Paihia/Waitangi golf at Waitangi A short 5 minute drive to Waitangi Golf Club to play 18 holes. Plan on an 8.30am tee off. Be back in Paihia in time to enjoy a 1.35pm departure on the Kings Hole in the Rock Dolphin Cruise. Your boxed picnic lunch will be waiting for you on board. Overnight Paihia/Waitangi  Day 4 Paihia/Waitangi   A free day with some options (not included in tour price). Take a coach trip to spectacular 90 Mile Beach and Cape Reinga. Alternatively, you may prefer a round of golf at Kauri Cliffs Golf Resort or you may choose to have a day at leisure in this lovely beach resort. Overnight Paihia/Waitangi  Day 5 Paihia – Orewa/North Shore   Enjoy a beach walk this morning and take in a coffee at one of the many beachside café’s before taking a leisurely drive south to Gulf Harbour where you will stay tonight. Driving Time North Shore approx 3 hours Overnight Orewa/North Shore  Day 6 Orewa/North Shore golf at Gulf Harbour Stunning golf at Gulf Harbour this morning with spectacular ocean views. An early tee off time means that you have the afternoon free to enjoy Auckland’s North Shore suburbs and beaches. Overnight Orewa/North Shore  Day 7 Orewa/North Shore – Taupo/Wairakei Travel south via Hamilton, Tirau and Tokaroa to Taupo this morning. You’ll travel through some very intensive dairy farming and forested terrain. Driving Time Orewa to Taupo approx 4 hours Overnight Taupo/Wairakei  Day 8 Taupo/Wairakei golf at Wairakei Play a round of golf on the world-renowned Wairakei International Golf Course, set on 450 acres of gentle countryside. We suggest a morning round of golf followed by an afternoon of sightseeing. Try a thrilling Huka Jet trip up the Waikato River to the spectacular Huka Falls, a lake cruise or fishing trip (optional). Overnight Taupo/Wairakei  Day 9 Wairakei/Taupo – Rotorua   A short drive to Rotorua. Time for optional sightseeing. A soothing soak in the Polynesian Spa Pools is included. This evening you may like to enjoy a traditional Maori concert and dinner (optional). Driving Time Taupo – Rotorua approx 1 hour Overnight Rotorua  Day 10 Rotorua - Queenstown golf at Rotorua An 8.30am tee off at the Rotorua Golf Club is your golf venue for today. This afternoon you will fly to Queenstown. Surrender your rental car at Rotorua Airport. Your flight is not included your trip package, but we are happy to arrange this flight for you. Pick up another rental car on arrival at Queenstown airport and drive to your accommodation. Overnight Queenstown  Day 11 Queenstown golf at Millbrook Resort Morning golf at Millbrook Resort, a short15 minute drive from Queenstown. This amazing course is ranked as one of the best in the world so enjoy your game. An 8.30am tee off means that you have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy Queenstown’s many sights and attractions. Overnight Queenstown  Day 12 Queenstown   Today is a free day in Queenstown but there are plenty of options that you can choose from. Here are a few of suggestions: • full day sightseeing coach tour to Milford Sound, with cruise • Dart River Safari • Earnslaw cruise to Walter Peak Station Overnight Queenstown  Day 13 Queenstown – Wanaka golf at Kelvin Heights - optional Play 18 holes today at Kelvin Heights, a lake-side course just 10 minutes from Queenstown. If the steep holes on the course don’t take your breath away, the spectacular views of the Remarkable Mountains will! This has to be one of the most stunning golf courses in New Zealand. This afternoon drive over the Crown Range to Wanaka. Driving Time Queenstown – Wanaka approx 1 ½ hours Overnight Wanaka  Day 14 Wanaka golf at Wanaka No golfing holiday would be complete without a stopover in Wanaka where the spectacular alpine scenery and clean air make for good golf scores. This morning’s golf is at the Wanaka Golf Club. You have the rest of the day off to enjoy Wanaka, the beautiful lake and its lakeside cafés. Overnight Wanaka  Day 15 Wanaka – Terrace Downs   Depart Lake Wanaka and drive through the beautiful McKenzie Country passing the high country lakes of Lake Ruataniwha, Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo. Don’t forget to stop at the Mount t Cook look-out on the Lake Pukaki dam. You will arrive at Terrace Downs Country Club late afternoon. See the sun set behind the Southern Alps. Brace yourself for tomorrow’s golf on the banks of the Rakaia Gorge, hundreds of feet above the river. Driving Time Wanaka - Terrace Downs approx 5 hours Overnight Terrace Downs  Day 16 Terrace Downs – Christchurch golf at Terrace Downs A round of golf this morning in the tranquil but magnificent surroundings of the Southern Alps at Terrace Downs Golf Course. After golf, drive across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch. Driving Time Terrace Downs – Christchurch approx 1 ¼ hour Overnight Christchurch  Day 17 Christchurch golf at Clearwater Resort - optional Your final round of golf is at Clearwater Resort, the newest championship course in New Zealand. Officially opened in March 2003 and already established as one of the country’s premier golf resorts, it is set amongst six lakes and designed in collaboration with Sir Bob Charles. Drop off your rental car by 5.00pm.
