Depart Lake Wanaka and drive through the beautiful McKenzie Country passing the high country lakes of Lake Ruataniwha, Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo. Don’t forget to stop at the Mount t Cook look-out on the Lake Pukaki dam. You will arrive at Terrace Downs Country Club late afternoon. See the sun set behind the Southern Alps. Brace yourself for tomorrow’s golf on the banks of the Rakaia Gorge, hundreds of feet above the river.
