A splendid day of cruising the spectacular Pacific Coast Highway around the Coromandel Peninsula. The mountain backbone of the peninsula is made up of rugged volcanic peaks and steep gorges shrouded in dense native bush. The morning is spent taking in the eastern coast road of the Coromandel Peninsula, with its stunning views out across the Hauraki Gulf. We visit the idyllic Coromandel Township before continuing our journey around the top of the peninsula, dropping into Whitianga and onto the Coroglen Pub for a well earned lunch! We then head down the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula taking in the stunning coastal scenery, unrivalled beaches and dramatic views on this fantastic drive through the winding roads of the Coromandel, before heading back to Auckland.

Marvel at the formations created by Mother Nature, drift silently in a boat and experience the glow-worm cavern as it is lit up by thousands of tiny glow worm lights. It is here that we will take a break as you take in the surroundings of this wonderful lakeside village. After enjoying your break we know head off for one of the most spectacular cruising experiences you will encounter as we follow the Cardrona Valley road and over the Crown Range (the highest sealed road in New Zealand) to Arrowtown, where you will have time to explore this historic mining town before the short ride back to Queenstown.

Our journey begins as we head east from Queenstown following the Kawarau River through Cromwell and onto Alexandra, a well known citrus producing area. Heading south we follow the banks of the mighty Clutha River as it winds its way through Roxburgh and onto Raes Junction. It is now time to stretch our legs and enjoy a wonderful country lunch. Having enjoyed the southern hospitality we continue on and come to the Blue Mountains as we make our way to Gore the country music capital of New Zealand. From here we ride north through the open vastness of Central Otago as we continue our journey to the foot of Lake Wakatipu, cruising the shores of this magnificent lake before arriving back in Queenstown.
