A splendid day of cruising the spectacular Pacific Coast Highway around the Coromandel Peninsula. The mountain backbone of the peninsula is made up of rugged volcanic peaks and steep gorges shrouded in dense native bush. The morning is spent taking in the eastern coast road of the Coromandel Peninsula, with its stunning views out across the Hauraki Gulf. We visit the idyllic Coromandel Township before continuing our journey around the top of the peninsula, dropping into Whitianga and onto the Coroglen Pub for a well earned lunch! We then head down the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula taking in the stunning coastal scenery, unrivalled beaches and dramatic views on this fantastic drive through the winding roads of the Coromandel, before heading back to Auckland.

Visit Middle Earth; discover the magical and mystical Hobbiton Village (movie set) that was brought to life in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Start your tour with a pleasant ride through some of New Zealand’s most striking farmland with spectacular views across the Kaimai ranges. Upon reaching the Shires Rest you will have time to relax before joining your fully guided tour of this most wonderful place. Having returned from the Hobbiton movie set it is now time for lunch at the Shires Rest Cafe and we then return to Auckland on a different route taking in some magnificent coastal scenery on the way home.

An exhilarating ride south along the banks of the mighty Waikato River and through New Zealand’s largest dairy and sheep farming province. Passing through many small settlements along our way as we head for the King Country and the stunning Waitomo Caves. It is here with the help of a guide that you get to experience this world famous cave formation. Marvel at the formations created by Mother Nature, drift silently in a boat and experience the glow-worm cavern as it is lit up by thousands of tiny glow worm lights. It is now time to relax and have some lunch before saying goodbye to this natural wonder as we head north back to Auckland.

Departing Auckland we head south through the sprawling southern suburbs and lifestyle blocks, before heading over the Bombay Hills to Hamilton. From here we follow the Waikato River through picturesque Cambridge, alongside Lake Karapiro and into the Mamaku Ranges passing through the beautiful Fitzgerald Glade. On arriving in Rotorua you will visit Te Puia Geothermal Reserve, New Zealand's famous geothermal wonderland with the Pohutu Geyser and experience first hand New Zealand's Maori Culture. It is now time for you to enjoy lunch overlooking Lake Rotorua. After lunch we now take a ride around this magnificent lake before our journey home through the pasturelands of Matamata and the Hauraki Plains.

Cruising along the Northern shores of Lake Wakatipu we head to the small settlement of Glenorchy, situated on the tip of this magnificent lake and just up the road from Paradise. You will have time to wonder through the village maybe enjoying a hot drink along the way, before turning around a heading back to Queenstown.

Heading West through the rugged Kawarau Gorge we ride towards the wine growing area of Gibbston, before passing through Cromwell and following the shores of Lake Dunstan north to Wanaka, situated at the Southern end of Lake Wanaka. It is here that we will take a break as you take in the surroundings of this wonderful lakeside village. After enjoying your break we know head off for one of the most spectacular cruising experiences you will encounter as we follow the Cardrona Valley road and over the Crown Range (the highest sealed road in New Zealand) to Arrowtown, where you will have time to explore this historic mining town before the short ride back to Queenstown.

Our journey begins as we head east from Queenstown following the Kawarau River through Cromwell and onto Alexandra, a well known citrus producing area. Heading south we follow the banks of the mighty Clutha River as it winds its way through Roxburgh and onto Raes Junction. It is now time to stretch our legs and enjoy a wonderful country lunch. Having enjoyed the southern hospitality we continue on and come to the Blue Mountains as we make our way to Gore the country music capital of New Zealand. From here we ride north through the open vastness of Central Otago as we continue our journey to the foot of Lake Wakatipu, cruising the shores of this magnificent lake before arriving back in Queenstown.

The rugged West Coast awaits us as we head north along the banks of Lake Dunstan before we turn off and head through the Mount Aspiring National Park. It is here that you will encounter some of the most breathtaking scenery as we cruise through this magnificent region. Having reached the West Coast it is time for a well earned break as you take in this wonderful part of New Zealand. It is now time to for our return journey back through the National Park.
