Backpacker hostels are a very popular travel option in New Zealand. We have carefully selected hostels that offer a good standard of budget accommodation in central locations so you’re close to all the main attractions. Facilities vary but we've done our homework and chosen those which offer clean bedrooms, well-equipped kitchens and laundry facilities, comfortable lounges, TV/video rooms and warm hospitality. Bed linen included. Where possible we use en-suite rooms. If we need to provide upgraded accommodation, a surcharge may apply. We will advise you at the time of confirmation.

		Paihia Pipi Patch Lodge Close to beach, shops, cafes & bars. Ensuite rooms, pool, BBQ, hot spa, sundeck.			Fox Glacier Ivory Towers Clean, secure, great kitchens, lounges, music & atmosphere. Laundry, free spa pool.
		Rotorua KiwiPaka YHA Ensuite rooms, hot thermal pool, TV lounge, BBQ, laundry.			Queenstown Discovery Lodge Lounge with open fire, ensuite rooms, spacious kitchen/dining area.
		Wellington base Backpackers Ensuite rooms, café, communal kitchen, BBQ area. New and funky.			Stewart Island Backpackers Central location, large lounge, full kitchen facilities, TV/internet.
					YHA Mount Cook Close to Mount Cook village, TV lounge, communal kitchen, BBQ, laundry facilities & free sauna.

At other locations we use either independent or YHA hostels.
